"Stepping On a Few Toes" is an autobiographical show written and produced by Jasmynne Shaye.  The piece follows Jasmynne from grade school through college revealing some of the most life-changing events that occurred during those years.  The show takes a deep look into a single family unit in hopes of uncovering answers to some long unanswered questions about parents’ relationships with their children.  "Stepping On a Few Toes" will bring to light many issues typically swept under the carpet in an effort to foster open dialogue as a starting point to bringing families closer and eliminating future hurt.  Children of all ages must feel as though they can speak to their parents about anything, and parents must make themselves available for even the most difficult conversations.  If you have ever suffered from any form of abuse, and didn’t know how to pick up the pieces, Stepping On a Few Toes will show you how one young girl fought long and hard to complete her puzzle.
